Background
It all started with a digital marketing internship — one viral-ish social post later, and I was completely hooked on why certain experiences just hit different.
I combine my background in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan with lessons from the real world to design experiences that make the complex feel simple (and maybe even enjoyable).
At the end of the day, I'm just really curious about people — how they think, how they move, what makes them feel seen. My goal is to create experiences that do exactly that, and sneak in a smile or two along the way.

My Approach to Design
“Design goes beyond aesthetics. It delivers solutions that integrate technology, data, and human psychology for the user. People from different backgrounds such as culture, race, and gender may perceive and respond to experiences differently.”
— Sang-in Lee, The Designer’s Approach: Refresh
This perspective closely aligns with how I approach design. With a background in sociology, I’ve developed a strong awareness of how people’s experiences are shaped by their cultural, social, and personal contexts. I bring this lens into my work by designing experiences that account for diverse user perspectives and behaviors.

If I weren’t a designer, what would I be?
Ideally, an actor, someone who steps into different lives and understands how people think and move through the world. Realistically, I’d still be drawn to storytelling. I’m curious about people and how they navigate life, and I’d want to explore those perspectives with empathy and depth.
Where do I want to be in 5-10 years?
I’ve been fortunate to have great mentorship along my journey, and I hope to become someone who provides that same support to others. Professionally, I want to broaden my perspective as a designer and create impactful experiences at scale, shaping products that improve the lives of millions of people.
